About Me

Hello!

Hi, I’m Jenna!

I’m a design-led real estate agent in Charlotte, and this space is where I write about my love for and the value in a Carolina Classic home.

While I’m not a Charlotte native, being mistaken for one often feels like the highest compliment.

The Carolinas have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. My family visited every year, and long before me, my mother grew up visiting the Carolina’s with her grandmother. We still have photographs of my great-grandmother sitting beneath blooming azaleas. This region has been part of my family’s lives for generations.

Over time, I began to recognize how much of what I love about this region shows up in its architecture -  wide front porches, brick facades, historical influences, and neighborhoods designed with a sense of permanence and community.

As a real estate agent in Charlotte, my hope is to bring together my belief that thoughtful, traditional design and long-term value are closely connected.

If you are a buyer or seller interested in working together, or have a particular project in mind, please send me an email! I would love to hear from you.

What is a Carolina Classic Home?

Carolina Classic Homes are “trendless” homes built with proportion, quality materials, and thoughtful design - rooted in this region.

In Charlotte and throughout the Carolinas, that often means English and Colonial architectural influences, brick facades, deep front porches, mature tree canopy, and materials chosen specifically for our climate.

As Charlotte continues to grow, the importance of preserving and investing in developing Carolina Classic Homes only becomes greater. As often, the most sought-after homes in our city are distinctly Carolina Classic.

While the rapid growth of our city is bringing new construction, new energy, and new opportunities, the neighborhoods people consistently fall in love with and are willing to pay significantly over asking for are neighborhoods with deeply established design and character. They reflect architectural consistency. They draw on the past through craftsmanship that many new builders don’t prioritize. And there is a certainty in their long-term appreciation, rooted in quality construction that becomes more charming with time.

As a real estate agent, it’s my goal to help clients find their dream home and see the long-term value in thoughtful design, because what we choose to build, preserve, or renovate reflects what we value, how we gather with community, and how we want to live.
